 ProfiPilot Training is introducing the fully online Teaching and learning course

Our EASA Teaching & Learning – Train the Trainer (Part-FCL, Part-BFCL, Part-SFCL) course is designed for pilots who aspire to become flight instructors FI(A/H/S/B), type rating instructors TRI(A/H), synthetic flight instructors SFI(A/H), or examiners under EASA Flight Crew Licensing (Part-FCL, Part-BFCL, Part-SFCL) regulations.
This program provides the essential knowledge, communication techniques, and instructional tools needed to deliver high-quality, compliant training in both theoretical and practical aviation environments.

  • Flight Instructors (FI), Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI), and Type Rating Instructors (TRI)
  • Flight Examiners (FE, TRE, CRE, SFE)

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Understand EASA Part-FCL requirements for instructional competence and training delivery

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate effective theoretical and practical training sessions
  • Communicate clearly and manage trainee performance in varied learning environments
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support pilot development

  • Introduction to EASA Part-FCL and the instructor’s role
  • Learning psychology and human factors in pilot training    
  • Communication, motivation, and interpersonal dynamics    
  • Training session design and lesson planning    
  • Teaching methods for ground and flight instruction    
  • Assessment, feedback, and trainee evaluation    
  • Managing errors, stress, and performance limitations    
  • Practical teaching exercises and peer feedback

Our Train the Trainer course is EASA-complaint and it complies with FCL.930.FI(b)(1), AMC1 FCL.930.FI Part 1. The course completion certificate is mutually accepted by all EASA member states.

  • Duration: Typically 3 days, min. 25 hours
  • Delivery: Classroom / Virtual / Blended options available
  • Assessment: Practical teaching demonstration and theoretical knowledge evaluation
  • Certification: EASA-compliant Teaching & Learning Certificate issued upon successful completion
