Balloon Instructor Refresher Seminar
To revalidate your FI(B) ✓
To revalidate your FI(B) certificate for next validity period, you need to meet the certain requirements specified by Part-BFCL. Besides the recent experience and instructor flight under supervision, you are required to attend the instructor refresher training every 3 years.
ProfiPilot Training provides balloon instructor refresher seminars driven by an experienced instructors and other professionals. This makes our FI(B) Refresher seminars a nice platform to share up-to-date knowledge and experience.
The flight instructor refresher training for the revalidation of the FI(B) certificate is provided as a seminar organized by ProfiPilot Training. Besides the formal sessions, the seminar allows time for presentations and related questions. Instructor Refresher Seminar consists of formal instruction with interactive videos and other teaching aids, breakout groups and workshops.
To be enrolled into the FI(B) refresher seminar, you have to be a holder of a valid FI(B) certificate and all other requirements to act as a pilot-in-command on respective aeroplane class. Should your FI(B) is expired, you need to be enrolled into the FI(B) refresher training.

The Balloon Instructor Refresher seminars are running for at least 1 day with a minimum of 6 hours of teaching time. The attendance from participants is required for the whole duration of the instructor refresher seminar including breakout groups and workshops. Different aspects, such as inclusion of participants holding certificates in different balloon class or hot-air balloon group will be carefully considered by ProfiPilot Training as possible credit.
As a Balloon Instructor within the last three years before the planned exercise of instructor privileges, you are required to complete:
