Cessna 525 SPO Renewal overview
Once your C525 SPO type rating becomes expired you have to follow the requirements of FCL.740(b). The C525 SPO renewal procedure requires to attend the refresher training in ProfiPilot Training to brush-up your Cessna 525 type-related skills and get-back the required single-pilot proficiency. The aim is you to reach the level of proficiency to safely operate the particular Cessna 525 variant under normal and abnormal operations same as you would do with a Cessna 172. Single pilot and no help from other fellow copilot. In some cases the C525 Refresher training is not required, however it also might take a bit longer - depending on your experience and time lapsed since the last flight on the C525 SPO variant. Due to the variety of the Cessna 525 variants and major differences across the family, we pay the careful attention to your overall experience, your recent experience and the variant you wish to fly the Cessna 525 under single-pilot operations in the future.
The training is followed by the Cessna 525 proficiency check with a C525 TRE.
