CL30 Base Training overview

The aim of the Challenger 300/350/3500 base training is to complete your initial Bombardier CL30 type rating training. You can attend the Base Training with ProfiPilot Training as a part of an in-house initial type rating or just visit us for the purpose of your base training only. CL30 base training objective is intended to confirm the "transfer of knowledge" from the simulator to the real aircraft. 

The CL30 Base Training consists of following:

• Comprehensive briefing
• 6 take-offs and landings in CL30 variant;

Training

During the training we will complete together the opened items of your training. The training will be commenced by comprehensive briefing focused on theoretical elements such as:

• Touch and go technique, bounced landing possibility
• Safety pilot duties
• Visual circuit
• Nonstandard base procedures
• required speeds and speed adjustments during the various phases of the flight
• engine and thrust management and thrust setting during the various phases
• using of the checklists during the various phases of the flights

Theoretical training will be followed by actual landing training with CL30 TRI.

What's next

Once your CL30 base training is completed, your licence endorsement will be done by an National Aviation Authority. You need to bring the skill test form along with the typerating course completion certificate to your Authority and they will issue you a licence with endorsed CL30 type rating. 

Next step will be to gain your supervised operational experience. This on-job training is assured by an operator and is usually called Line training or simply LIFUS which stands for Line Flying Under Supervision.
