To revalidate your FI or IRI ✓
To revalidate your FI(H) / IRI(H) certificate for next validity period, you need to meet two out of three conditions. Besides the recent experience as an instructor along with the assessment of competence with an FIE, third requirement is to attend the instructor refresher seminar in last 12 months of its validity. If you meet the requirements for the revalidation of your FI / IRI by experience, the Instructor Refresher Seminar is a must.

The flight instructor refresher training for the revalidation of the FI or IRI certificate is provided as a seminar organized by ProfiPilot Training. Besides the formal sessions, the seminar allows time for presentations and related questions. Instructor Refresher Seminar consists of formal instruction with interactive videos and other teaching aids, breakout groups and workshops.
To be enrolled into the FI(H) and IRI(H) refresher seminar, you have to be a holder of a valid FI(H) / IRI(H) certificate and all other requirements to act as a pilot-in-command on respective aeroplane class. Should your FI(H) / IRI(H) is expired, you need to be enrolled into the FI(H) / IRI(H) refresher training.

The FI(H) / IRI(H) Refresher Seminar lasts for at least 2 days (1 day cca 6 hours). Your attendance will be required for the whole duration of the FI(H) / IRI(H) seminar including breakout groups and workshops. Different aspects, such as inclusion of participants holding certificates in other categories of aircraft will be carefully considered by ProfiPilot Training as possible credit.
The attendance form will be completed and signed by the organiser of the seminar and Course completion certificate will be issued following attendance and satisfactory participation by the FI(A). After the course completion, you can revalidate your FI / IRI certificate by attending the assessment of competence with an EASA FIE or by completing the required amount of hours as instructor.
