Overview

TRI Boeing 737 privileges Extension Overview

The TRI privileges extension training program is the additional training to your previously completed TRI B737 training course. Upon completion of your TRI B737 initial training or TRI B737 type extension, your privileges are restristed to the instruction in simulator only. The so-called TRI FSTD restricted privileges are consistent with the privileges of SFI B737. The objective of the TRI Privileges extension is to  extend your TRI B737 privileges to use it's full potential. It means you to be able to provide the so-called landing training or base training as well as the LIFUS - line flying under supervision. 

The  Boeing 737 TRI privileges extension training course consists of three parts:

• Technical theoretical knowledge instruction (Technical training);
• Flight instruction in B737 simulator
• Flight training in real B737 aeroplane

LIFUS

The LIFUS extension means you will be authorized to provide Line training or Line Flying Under Supervision in particular variant of Boeing 737 for freshly type-rated pilots during line operations with passengers on board. Usually it takes 1 trianing session to cover the regulatory required exercises. The course is completed by the Course review held by the Course instructor (Senior TRI). Endorsement entry into your licence is completed by your issuing authority. The TRI B737 LIFUS extension consists of training in methods of providing appropriate commentary and intervention strategies during the Line Training, such as:

• Take-off: tail strike awareness and avoidance, rejected take-off, actual engine failure, take-off configuration warning, and overcontrolling;
• Approach and landing: normal approach, high flare, long float, no flare, immediate go-around after touchdown, baulked landing, rejected landing, crosswind, and overcontrolling;
• Flight management:  task sharing and handover of controls, effect of ATC-delaying actions on endurance, alternate management and diversion, and traffic awareness when flying in pattern.

TRI - TRI

You can become so-called Trainer of the trainers. As the TRI B737 300 - 900 you need to provide at least 50 hours as TRI or SFI to qualify yourself for TRI/SFI trainer. The training required to attend in ProfiPilot Training consists of flight instruction syllabus of the relevant part of the TRI training covering the initial TRI training. This course is usually done along with the initial TRI training. The duration is tailored-made, however usually it takes 1 trianing session to cover such requirement. The course is completed by the review by Course instructor (senior TRI). Endorsement is usually not required in the licence.
