B737NG Type Rating Training course overview

The aim of the Boeing 737NG initial type rating training course is to provide you with sufficient theoretical knowledge instruction, FSTD and if required also actual base training to safely operate particular variant constituting into B 737 300 - 900 type rating.

The B737NG Type Rating course consists of following parts:

• 25:00 hours of MCC-related ground school (optional)
• 10:00 hours of MCC training completed in B737NG simulator (optional)
• 37:30 hours of B737NG type-related ground school;
• 02:30 hours of UPRT ground school
• 12:00 hours of B737NG fixed-base simulator
• 32:00 hours training in full-flight simulator of Boeing 737NG;

The Boeing 737NG type rating training course culminates into the B737NG skill test in simulator with an EASA B737 300-900 TRE. Upon completion of the licencing skill test so-called base training needs to be completed to apply for the license endorsement.

Theory

Boeing 737NG theoretical knowledge instruction or so-called B737NG groundschool is split into three phases. Should you are an experienced pilot, we will give you significant credit.

If you are missing MCC training we will provide you with basic MCC theoretical knowledge instruction prior the actual typerating ground school.

The content of typerating training course consists of type-related profile subjects and lasts a bit over 37 hours completed in combination of CBT, self-study and classroom-led sessions. Ground school is delivered by distance-learning means complemented by instructor-led classroom sessions. It is completed by written test comprises of 100 multiple choice questions from the B737NG type-related subjects.

In addition to the B737NG type related knowledge, you will receive also the UPRT groundschool lasting approximately 8 hours comprises of following:

• Aerodynamics, Causes of and contributing factors to upsets
• Safety review of UPRT accidents, G-load awareness and management
• Energy management, Flight path management
• Recognition, System malfunction, High altitude UPRT
