LAPL bridge course overview

The Light Aicraft Pilot License bridge course consists of approximately 20 hours of instruction. ProfiPilot Training utilizes both - the distance learning and the classroom learning means of the instruction. It all depends on your preference. The LAPL bridge ground school covers differences between your current category (e.g. aeroplanes and your desired category (e.g. Helicopters).

The LAPL bridge course is followed by the LAPL written exam in Exam Institute. 

Groundschool

The LAPL bridge ground school instruction covers subjects different from your current category. Following subjects and differences will be covered during the ground school as well as for the written exam:

• Principles of flight,
• Operational procedures,
• Flight performance and planning, and
• Aircraft general knowledge.

What's next

Upon completion of your LAPL bridge course theory, you need to complete your flying training. You can obviously complete those two trainings separately. Upon completion of your LAPL bridge theory in ProfiPilot Training, you can complete your flight training anywhere else.  In any case, the theoretical knowledge instruction shall always have been completed before the LAPL skill test is taken.

There is only one important date to remember. Theoretical knowledge exam certificate for the issue of a LAPL is valid for a period of 24 months. It simply means you have to complete your LAPL skill test latest 24 months after completion of your theoretical knowledge exam.
