Renewal overview CRJ Series / CL850 TRI & SFI
To renew an expired TRI or SFI certificate for CRJ Series or Challenger 850 you have to meet the requirements of FCL.940.TRI. Within a period of 12 months you have to complete the renewal procedure which includes the instructor refresher training provided by ProfiPilot Training. The TRI/SFI CL65 Refresher is tailored made to you and your experience. The renewal refresher training can be as short as the theoretical TRI/SFI refresher focused on the news in the insdustry, however it also might be longer and cover the CRJ Series and Challenger 850 type-related items depending on your overall and instructional experience.
To renew the validity of TRI CL65 certificate, you are required, in last 12 months to complete at least:
- at least 30 route sectors, including take-offs and landings in CRJ Series and Challenger 850 . 15 out of 30 sectors can be completed in an FFS for example as a part of your recurrent training
- TRI renewal refresher training as a TRI at an ProfiPilot Training which shall cover the relevant elements of the TRI CL65 training course;
To renew the validity of SFI CL65 certificate, you are required, in last 12 months to complete at least:
- skill test for the issue of CL65 typarating
- SFI renewal refresher training as a SFI at an ProfiPilot Training which shall cover the relevant elements of the SFI CL65 training course;
Upon completion of the Challenger 300/350/3500 TRI or SFI refresher training, you will be required to attend the assessment of competence in accordance with point FCL.935 with EASA Type Rating Examiner - TRE CL65.
