Overview

TRI CL65 privileges Extension Overview

The TRI type extension training program is tailored to your previous experience. It consists of the relevant parts of the initial TRI CL65 training course. The TRI CL65 type extension training has to be relevant to its purpose. So we will avoid long-lasting training resulting in washback . When setting up the training we are taking into consideration your experience on other aircraft types that are similar to the CL65.

The CL65 TRI type extension training course consists of three parts:

• Technical theoretical knowledge instruction (Technical training);
• Flight instruction in CL65 simulator

The CL65 TRI type extension training is followed by the TRI AoC with EASA CL65 TRE.

LIFUS

The LIFUS extension means you will be authorized to provide Line training or Line Flying Under Supervision on Bombardier CRJ Series for freshly type-rated pilots. Although the duration is tailored-made, however usually it takes 1 trianing session to cover such requirement.The FSTD part of the LIFUS training is followed by the flight training in the aircraft. The flying part of the LIFUS consists of 2 sectors to develop your instructor competences required for providing the LIFUS instructor in CL65. The TRI CL65 LIFUS extension consists of methods of providing appropriate commentary and intervention strategies during the Line Training, such as:

• Take-off: tail strike awareness and avoidance, rejected take-off, actual engine failure, take-off configuration warning, and overcontrolling;
• Approach and landing: normal approach, high flare, long float, no flare, immediate go-around after touchdown, baulked landing, rejected landing, crosswind, and overcontrolling;
• Flight management:  task sharing and handover of controls, effect of ATC-delaying actions on endurance, alternate management and diversion, and traffic awareness when flying in pattern.

TRI for TRI

You can become so-called Trainer of the trainers. As the TRI CL65 you need to provide at least 50 hours as TRI or SFI to qualify yourself for TRI/SFI trainer. The training required to attend in ProfiPilot Training consists of flight instruction syllabus of the relevant part of the TRI training covering the initial TRI training. This course is usually done along with the initial TRI training. The duration is tailored-made, however usually it takes 1 trianing session to cover such requirement. The course is completed by the review by Course instructor (senior TRI). Endorsement is usually not required in the licence.
