IR ME extension Training overview
The Instrument Multi-engine extension training course comprises at least 5 hours instruction in instrument flying in multi-engine aeroplanes, of which 3 hours may be in simulator. The flight training is flown in multi-engine aeroplane representing the MEP(land) class rating.
The EASA Instrument Rating extension training is followed by the IR Skill test with EASA Instrument Rating Examiner. The validity of the multi-engine Instrument Rating is 1 year. To revalidate your Instrument Rating you need to comply with FCL.625.IR(b).
