Privileges

Once you complete your ICAO to EASA MEP Land class rating conversion you have several options how to expand your privileges further.

You can easily become an multi-engine instructor. EASA recognises so-called Class Rating Examiner for MEP Land class rating. Since you have already 100 hours of an experience flying an MEP Land, you are already qualified to enroll the CRI ME training course.

To fly another so-called variant of MEP Land you need a differences training. It means your MEP Land is restricted to the particular type in which you have taken your skill test (e.g. Diamond DA42). Variant is just the EASA's way to call aircraft type. To be qualified to fly another variant (e.g. Piper 34 Seneca) you need to undertake the differences training in ProfiPilot Academy.
