Modular CPL(A) training overview
The aim of the CPL(A) modular flight training course is to train you as a PPL(A) holder to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of a Commercial Pilot Licence.
The training consists of:
- 15 hours of flight training for instrument-rated pilots or BIFM holders
- 25 hours of flight training for VFR Night - rated pilots
- 30 hours of flight training for pilots without VFR Night, BIFM and IR
The CPL(A) training can be flown by using the multi-engine aeroplane or single-engine aeroplane. Nevertheless you have to obtain the class rating prior the CPL(A) training. 5 hours will be flown in so-called complex aeroplane (variable pitch propeller, retractable undercarriage and at least 4 seats). The CPL(A) training is followed by the CPL(A) skill test with EASA Fllight Examiner. The validity of the CPL(A) is unlimited and stays valid as long as you keep valid your Class 1 Medical certificate. Skill test need to be completed within the period of validity of the pass in the theoretical examinations.
