Boeing 737NG Differences Training course overview

The aim of the Boeing 737 Next Generation differences training course is to provide you as an holder of current Boeing 737 300 - 900 typerating with priivleges to Boeing 737 Classic or Boeing 737 Max sufficient theoretical knowledge and FSTD instruction to safely operate Boeing 737-600 / 700 / 800 / 900 variant.

The B737NG Differences training course consists of following:

• 4:30 hours of variant-related differences ground school
• 4:00 hours of simulator training (for crew);

The B737NG differences training course is followed by either partial proficiency check or operator proficiency check with an EASA B 737 300 - 900 TRE in simulator.

Prerequisites

To be enrolled into the B737NG differences training, you have to meet following:

• be a holder of valid Medical Certificate Class 1 
• be a holder of EASA ATPL(A) for PIC or EASA CPL(A) for Co-pilot
• be a holder of B737 300-900 typerating and qualified to fly the B737CL or B737Max

Simulator

The simulator training consists of single simulator session lasting 4 hours for crew or 3 hours for the single crew member. The content of the sessions is variant-specific and covers following:

• cockpit layout difference
• system-specific malfunctions
• variant-specific handling
• response to variant-specific non-normals and emergencies
