CRJ 1000 Series inital training

CL65 type rating training for the longerst variant ✔️

The CRJ1000 initial typerating is demanding and comply with all EASA recommendations and standard operating practices required for safe operation of the CRJ. Whatever the current name is - Canadair, Bombardier or Mitsubishi it is and it will always be a CRJ for all of us who have flown it.  Our instructors flown thousands of hours in different CRJ variants. We are delighted to share our knowledge and experience with you.

Despite the CL65 typerating allows to fly the different variants of CRJ upon completion of the differences training, this is not the case for CRJ1000. The transition from CRJ1000 to other variants of CRJ requires completion of CL65 initial training for the particular variant.

Although CRJ1000 aircraft looks amazingly nice, it has its own areas requiring special attention. Those are mainly the complex automatization as well as the logic of the EICAS features. Let us introduce you to the members of the family of pilots flying this long Canadian cigar.
