LAPL(A) Class extension
Fly different aircraft and extend your LAPL✓
Once issued, the privileges of LAPL(A) are restricted to the class rating and variant of an aircraft in which the skill test was taken. To shift the LAPL(A) restriction, you have to attend the training in ProfiPilot Training. We will provide you with necessary training to fly new aircraft class and variant.

The LAPL(A) class extension training is followed by the LAPL Skill test with EASA Flight Examiner.
Before being enrolled into the LAPL(A) class extension flight training course, you have to meet general requirements such as:
To remove LAPL(A) limitation and extend the LAPL(A) privileges you have to complete Class Extension flight training lasting 3 hours in ProfiPilot Training consisting of:
In order to extend your privileges to another variant within the same class rating, the you have tol either undertake differences training or do a familiarisation. The differences training will be entered your pilot’s logbook and be signed by an instructor.
Differences training requires the acquisition of additional knowledge and training on an appropriate training device or the aircraft.
Familiarisation training requires the acquisition of additional knowledge without actual flying training.
The LAPL(A) class extension training course is completed by the skill test with EASA Flight Examiner to demonstrate an adequate level of practical skills in the new class and variant. During this LAPL extension skill test, you will also have to demonstrate to the EASA examiner an adequate level of theoretical knowledge for the other class in the following subjects:

AIRBUS A320 TYPE RATING program structure The course consists of Airbus A320 Type Rating (theory and full flight simulator training), followed by Base Training and an optional job interview preparation course.
