To renew your expired SEP – Land class rating you have to attend the SEP refresher training in ProfiPilot Academy. Once you regain the required skills and proficiency, you will be recommended for the licence proficiency check with an EASA Class Rating Examiner.
In some cases, such as the SEP(land) is not expired more than 3 years, the refresher training could be done directly by an EASA Examiner.
Recommendation
Once the SEP(land) class rating expires it will cost you additional expenses to re-gain the class rating privileges back. To avoid unexpected and undesired costs, we strongly recommend you to revalidate your SEP(land) within the validity period by either:
- attending the EASA SEP(land) licence proficiency check or
- to gain the recent experience required for revalidation of SEP(land) by experience
