Being a flight instructor is a passion. The most exciting experience from this point of view is definitely to coach somebody to fly the aircraft safely. Sometimes the path is easy, but sometimes it will be the uphill battle full of challenges.
In ProfiPilot Training, we are all passionate instructors, and our foremost mission is to impart knowledge effectively not only to the trainees, but also to the new instructors who are willing to learn.
As a recognised aviation professionals, our experienced senior instructor team, ProfiPilot Training developed our own flight instructor development program.
Everything you need to participate in flight instructor development program is:
- knowledge of English
- hold the valid EASA pilot licence with medical
- hold a valid flight instructor certificate
...and have a nice softskills in:
- be passionate for sharing
- willingness and ability to work on yourself
- pro-client oriented mind
The Flight instructor development program is an active on-job training, where you will be providing the training to our trainees under the comprehensive guidance and oversight of ProfiPilot Training senior instructor.
The duration of the flight instructor development program is split into 3 main phases. The duration of the instructor development program depends on your own time availability and your aim.
For Aeroplanes, there are generally 4 main phases:
- 100 hours as instructor for shifting the restriction
- 200 hours as instructor for providing the CPL trainings
- 500 hours as instructor for providing the instructor trianings
- Experience required for Flight Examiner certificates (250 - LAPL, 500 - PPL and 1000 - CPL skill tests)
For Balloons, there are generally 2 main phases:
- experience required for providing the instructor trainings
- experience required for becoming the Balloon Flight Examiner
