CRJ is a pioneer
This revolutionary project changed the name few times since new. Canadair Regional Jet, later on Bombardier CL65 and currently branded as Mitshubishi CRJ Series. However for all pilots, it will always be simple - CRJ.
The Bombardier CRJ was pioneer of regional air transport. With the introduction of the CRJ 100/200 caused a revolution in regional air transport in the early 1990s. Additional CRJ variants were introduced by gradual stretching of the fuselage. The CRJ variants counting CRJ 200, CRJ700, CRJ900, CRJ900NG and CRJ1000. In addition the business jet variant called Challenger 850 was introduced by modifying the original CRJ Series. The production of CRJ Series has been stopped in 2020.
You won't find many places to get CRJ-related training. ProfiPilot Training is one of the very few EASA pilot training organizations authorized to provide the trainings towards the CRJ.
